A collection of pics from Fort Massac Rendezvous in Metropolis, IL. This is an annual encampment that draws thousands of spectators, re-enactors and craftsmen. The newly rebuilt fort is a re-creation of the American Fort built in 1802.
- 2nd Floor of Barracks
The new fort has a couple of two story barracks, situated between the blockhouses. This picture features the 2nd story heating and air system.

- Blockhouse at the newly rebuilt Fort Massac in Metropolis, IL
This is a picture of one of four blockhouses located at the corners of the newly rebuilt fort. The fort is located overlooking the Ohio river.
- Cannon
The big guns on the frontier, cannons were useful in striking fear in the hearts of non-compliant indian tribes. These replicas are fired during the encampment's recreated battles.
